Prices are indicative – They are based on two people sharing and includes all transfers and specified tours on the island as specified in the itineraries. We have mentioned just some of the hotels in Zanzibar for illustrative purposes. We can book visitors in to any hotel on the island, each with its own particular charm and attraction, and will be pleased to advise about other hotels.
Town & Beach.
Most people like to spend some time in Stone Town with most of the time at one or two beach locations. If people stay at a beach location for the whole holiday, it is not easy to do a sight-seeing trip to Town, 1 hours each way from most beach locations this involve two hours just on the road!. Many people who do not mind a move like to stay at two different beach locations to see different parts of the island. We can discuss with you what you would like, and book accordingly.
Board Basis – As there are many places to eat in Stone Town, accommodation is usually on a bed & breakfast basis. At beach locations, many hotels are some distance from other places to eat so accommodation is either on half or full board.
Last Night – When people are booked on a morning flight for their return journey, we strongly suggest the last night back in Town, which is only 15 minutes to the Airport. Coming in from a beach location can mean a very early transfer, and there is no predicting the state of the road. Please see our sample itinerary below

Day 1: ARRIVAL
You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by our representative. We will take you to the Rivertrees Country Inn. This charming Lodge is situated at the banks of picturesque Usa River on an old German coffee estate and offers stunning views towards Mt. Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro. Alternative accommodation is at Mount Meru Game Lodge with an attached game sanctuary in the foothills of Mt Meru. Our safari manager will come to meet you and to provide you with a safari briefing. Dinner. NB –if you arrive into another airport than Kilimanjaro we’ll arrange a connection flight to Arusha either on arrival or the following day (at extra cost). Day 2: Tarangire
Your Tanzania Safari starts with the drive toTarangire, Tanzania’s fifth largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Proceed to Lake Manyara after completing your game drive at Tarangire. Day 3: Lake Manyara
After breakfast we depart for Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and others. Driving time without game viewing approx 1 hour Overnight at Rift Valley Lodge. All meals included.
Day 4: Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will proceed to NgorongoroConservation Area and descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world.It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Driving time without game viewing approx 1 hour Overnight at Ngoronogoro Farmhouse (or sim). All meals included.
Day 5: Serengeti
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive. Driving time without game viewing approx 3 – 3,5 hours Overnight at Mapito Tented Camp at Ikoma, Northern Serengeti. All meals included.
Day 6: Serengeti
Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. Full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. As in Ngorongoro your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Day 7: Zanzibar

Day 1: Arrival
Your Family Safari Zanzibar starts when you are met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by your driver/guide and our representative. We will take you to the L’Oasis Lodge, a simple but charming lodge at the foot of Mt. Meru. Traditional round huts are clustered in the tropical garden, and a small pool guarantees refreshing moments on a hot day. Day 2: Lake Manyara
After breakfast the family safari starts and we depart for Lake Manyara (driving time some 2.5 – 3 hours). Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo and others.

Day 3: Exploring Lake Manyara and its surroundings
After spending most of the previous days in the car you might enjoy to get out of the car for some physical activities and to explore the area at the Rift Valley Escarpment by walk guided by well trained local guides. First you walk through Mto wa Mbu Village where your guides introduce you to the local village and social life, to economic activities, education and many others things. Instead of the village tour your guides can also take you to a large banana plantation, one of the basics of local economy life and explain you about this agricultural meaning. Later you can walk through a small forest inhabited by monkeys and dikdiks which leads to Miwaleni River. Following the river is a thrilling (maybe little strenuous) hike and climb over rocks and stones until you finally reach Miwaleni Waterfall hidden in the Rift Valley Escarpment:

Day 4: Ngorongoro

Day 5: Ngorongoro-Serengeti
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park (driving time some 4 hours, but with plenty to see on the way!) En route you will see grazing zebras, antelopes and giraffes and sometimes some buffaloes hiding in the bush. You will visit a Maasai Boma (traditional village) where some Maasai Warriors will welcome you, show you around and explain their traditional life. They will also show you their famous jumping dance and invite you to join in if you like! You can also see inside houses, meet children, ask questions and take photos!
After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for a relaxed lunch under the shade of an old acacia tree.
In the afternoon you can go out again on game drives or undertake a nature walk around the camp with some resident tribesmen. They are happy to share their knowledge of plants and animals surrounding them and introduce you into their use of traditional bow and arrow for hunting.

Day 1: ARRIVAL

Day 2: Mt Kilimanjaro – Arusha – Machame Camp
In the morning we’ll transfer to the Machame Park Gate (5,950 ft./ 1,815 mt.). After registering with the park authority, we’ll begin our climb through the lush forest. Trekkers will likely hear the many exotic birds in the canopy above, and many even see black & white colobus monkeys and sykes monkeys as they hike along the knotted roots.
We’ll continue on to some heath land before reaching our overnight camp at Machame Camp (9,850 feet, 6-7 hours of walking), just above the forest zone. The trek is quite long, thus not steep. and mud on the forest floor.

Day 3: Mt Kilimanjaro – Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Today’s segment of the ascent will continue across beautiful heath land and alpine moorland with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro Peak. We begin up the steep track through a savannah of tall grasses, and trees of Giant Heather and Erica. Scramble around large boulders as you enter the moorland zone, marked by lobelia and senecio plants, and volcanic rocks draped with lichen beards, which protect wild alpine flowers growing at their bases. We’ll overnight at Shira Camp (12,600 feet, 5-6 hours of walking).

Day 4: Mt Kilimanjaro – Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
We’ll draw nearer the peak as we get closer to the Lava Tower. The trek becomes a bit more strenuous as the trail steepens on the approach to the lava Tower, a 300 foot tall volcanic plug which marks an exposed pass at 15,000 feet In the afternoon, descend the steep track into the Great Barranco Valley.
Barranco Camp is set on a col (flat area) enclosed on three sides with steep valley walls and the Kibo massif itself. Hanging glaciers glint in the sunshine above, amidst the eerie landscape of plants such as the giant groundsels (Senecio Kilimanjari), and the uniquely endemic Giant Lobelia.Then we slowly ascent to our overnight stop at Barranco Camp (12,950 feet, 5-6 hours of walking). This day and the following day will be your acclimatisation time.

Day 5: Mt Kilimanjaro – Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp
The day will begin with a descent into the Gorge, before we climb its eastern wall where we will enjoy views of Kilimanjaro’s ice fields, an equatorial anomaly. We will continue trekking until we reach our camp in Karanga Valley (13,900 feet, 4-5 hours of walking).

Day 6: Mt Kilimanjaro – Karanga Valley Camp to Barafu Camp
We’ll trek up through the Karanga Valley, the trail turns steadily uphill, following the lava ridge to the Barafu camp. The temperature will grow colder and the landscape more sparse as we near Barafu Camp.
Barafu Camp is set on a small, exposed flat area on a ridge, acting as a base camp from which you will make your summit attempt at midnight tonight. Barafu camp (15,200 feet, 6-7 hours of walking).

Day 7: Mt Kilimanjaro – Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp
Just after midnight we start of a challenging trek(12-17 hours of trekking). You begin trekking at 12:30 to 1am, passing between the Rebmann and Tarzel glaciers to the rim at Stella Point.
The temperatures range from just below freezing at midnight, to between 10 deg. F (-12 deg. C) to –10 F. (-23 deg. C) just before dawn at the summit. As dawn nears, we’ll summit at Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 19,340 feet. Uhuru will be the culmination of – and the reward for – 6-7 hours of strenuous hiking. We’ll then descend back to Barafu Camp, resting for a while before continuing our descent to Mweka Camp (9,840 feet, 3-4 hours of walking on the descent).

Zanzibar island, known as Unguja, is approximately 95 km long and

slave trade and as an important trading post for cloves and spices the island

Zanzibar's old quarter, Stone Town, is a fascinating maze of narrow streets and alleyways which lead past numerous old houses and mosques, ornate Stone Town date from the 15th-century slave boom. A feature of many houses is brass-studded doors and elaborately carved frames. The size of a door and intricacy of its design was an indication of an owners wealth and status. The use of studs probably originated in Persi or India where they helped prevent doors being knocked down by war elephants. Zanzibar studs were purely decorative. This particular sub-species of red Colobous monkey is endemic to Jozani Forest. After observing these animals a visit to "ZALA PARK" (Zanzibar Land Animals Park) is possible. Here you will enjoy snorkeling on the coral reefs and sunbathing on the beach. It is here you will find and play with giant and small tortoises and see preserved peacocks in the small forest. You are then taken back to your hotel at prison Island. There are two restaurants where you can take lunch.
